SpyCast

I love social games that bring people together, but most require too much setup or aren’t accessible on mobile. I wanted to build a game that felt like Spyfall meets Among Us, but in a simpler, in-person format anyone can play using just their phones. As a solo dev, it was also a fun challenge to build real-time multiplayer with Flutter and Firebase. Spycast stands out because it’s mobile-first, completely self-hosted, and doesn’t require one device to do all the work. Everyone plays from their own phone in real-time, making it easy to jump into anywhere. The scoring system is individual, even though you’re technically “on a team,” which adds an extra layer of strategy — trust no one, not even your teammate. I’m most proud of how seamless and fast the experience is — no downloads or instructions needed for others, just one person hosts and everyone joins with a code. Also proud that it’s built 100% with Flutter, by me alone, and runs reliably across devices.
