hey everyone, lukas here. i built spudnote because i wanted a calm, enjoyable, and novel experience in a task management/note taking app which i wasn't able to find. no databases, no templates, no setup. it opens to a small field. every note is a sprout. tap the soil to plant one, pull it up when you're done with it and it drops into a basket. ignore a note long enough and it starts poking out of the dirt and grows a little hat. that's the whole product. underneath it is a genuinely fast, calm notes app, the potato is just what makes you want to open it. the potato is called spud. he wanders around, you can pick him up and carry him between plots, and if you tap him he says something. butterflies land on his head. he is not a productivity system and he will not help you build a second brain.
