Sprout is a private Android money manager. Track spending, budgets, goals, bills, and debts on your phone. No bank login and no Sprout cloud account. Free tracking, reports, backup, and app lock. Premium removes ads and unlocks full debt schedules.
Hey Product Hunt. I built Sprout.
I wanted a money app that did not ask for my bank password or a cloud account. Most trackers want both. Spreadsheets work, but they do not sit next to the moment you actually spend.
Sprout is a private money manager on Android. You log what happened. The ledger stays on the phone. No Sprout login. No bank sync.
What you can do today:
Home: balance, monthly flow, and what is safe to spend
Transactions, category budgets, savings goals
Recurring bills and subscriptions
Debts with payment history (full schedules on Premium)
Local encrypted backups and biometric or PIN lock
Free includes tracking, reports, backup, and lock. Ads help pay for the free plan, and there are soft caps (for example 3 wallets and 1 active debt). Premium is $3.99/month or $24.99/year: no ads, no those caps, full debt forecasts.
The website (hellosprout.app) has free calculators that run in the browser: snowball vs avalanche, loan, 50/30/20, safe-to-spend, and more. Same idea as the app: math stays on your device.
iOS is next. Android is on Google Play now.
I'd like feedback on two things:
Is manual entry a fair trade for keeping the ledger on-device?
What should a first-week user see on Home so they come back?
Happy to answer anything.
