Hey Product Hunt! I'm BloodyNeonz, aka José, the developer behind Spritforge, and also the creator of Pokémon Inritum, a fan-made RPG with a small but active community. The idea came from the distrust of commissions overall and watching a few artists getting burned by PayPal chargeback scams. A buyer receives the work, files a dispute claiming non-delivery, and PayPal sides with them. The artist loses both the work and the money. It's a well-documented problem with no good solution for small creators. Existing platforms like VGen and Artistree are either generic, invite-only, or don't actually hold funds in escrow. Spritforge does! Money is held by Stripe until the buyer approves the delivery. No approval, no payout. Any chargeback hits the platform, not the artist, and we have the full paper trail to fight it. It's built specifically for indie game creators such as artists, composers, writers, and scripters, with categories that speak their language: battler sprites, chiptune OSTs, Essentials plugins, and overworld tilesets.
