Hey everyone, I watch a lot of Counter-Strike and I kept missing matches. Not for lack of caring. Checking HLTV three times a day to see whether Vitality are playing is a chore, and the one day you skip it is the day they play a Major quarterfinal. So I built spotted.gg. Pick a team, hit subscribe, and 10 minutes before they play you get an email or a Discord ping. That's the whole product. No feed to scroll, no app to install. 26 Tier 1 teams so far. There's also a calendar feed if you'd rather have the schedule sitting in Google Calendar. The part that took longest is the part nobody sees. Tournament times move. I watched one match slide from 15:00 to 16:00 to 17:30 UTC in a single afternoon, and my first version had already pinged everyone at 14:50. So now the schedule refreshes every 5 minutes, the alert re-checks the real kickoff right before it sends, and if the time shifts 15 minutes or more after you've already been pinged, you get a second message with the new time. It's free and the alerts are staying free. I built it for myself, so it runs either way. Two things I want from you. If you follow a Tier 1 team that isn't on the list, name it and I'll add it. And if an alert ever fires at the wrong time, tell me, because that's the only bug that matters here.
