That context all exists, it's just spread across a dozen tabs. SpotStartup puts it in one place. 128,515 organisations pinned to their real cities: 100,166 startups, 23,709 tech companies, the investors and accelerators behind them, and 3,421 universities and 694 research labs. 180,060 connections between them, all traceable. Stanford leads the universities at 442. There's also an infrastructure layer with 708 submarine cables, 223 cloud regions and 5,815 data centres, because the map gets more interesting when you can see what it all runs on.
