Producing audiobooks and podcasts is art – but the review process is a mess. Today, most teams still use messy Excel sheets, long emails, and confusing time-stamps to communicate retakes and edits. SpokenEdit changes that. It's a browser-based workspace where speakers, publishers, and authors collaborate directly within the waveform.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I’m Joerg, the maker of SpokenEdit.
As someone who loves high-quality audio content, I’ve always been frustrated by how broken the production workflow is. I saw professional voice actors, audiobook studios, and podcasters still using messy Excel sheets and endless email chains just to communicate simple retakes.
"At minute 12:04, you said 'the' instead of 'a'..." – we've all seen these lists. 😫
I built SpokenEdit to end this "time-stamp chaos" once and for all. It’s a dedicated workspace where feedback happens directly inside the waveform.
Why I think you’ll love it:
Visual Precision: Just click the waveform and leave a comment. No more manual time-stamps.
DAW Integration: We bridged the gap between the browser and professional software like Cubase, Logic, and Studio One via MIDI/CSV export.
Workflow First: Features like "All Chapters Export" with automatic offsets are built specifically for the long-form needs of the audiobook industry.
SpokenEdit is currently in its early stages, and I’m looking for honest feedback from this amazing community to make it the gold standard for audio collaboration.
I’ll be here all day to answer your questions! What’s the most annoying part of your current audio workflow?
