One of the best parts is the variety of splitting options — you can split equally, by exact amounts, by percentages, shares, or customize it however you need. That flexibility makes it really convenient for different situations. The interface is clean and easy to understand, and adding expenses takes only a few seconds.

This is a great product that allows us to split our yearly trip expenses appropriately. One of the great feature of this product is that this product allows transactions between any number of individuals in a group to be recorded and finally it rolls up all amounts in a way that is easy to settle. Have been an avid user of this app for many years!

Useful for me for tracking expenses across friends and family especially on trips. Challenges are 1) if the person doesn't have a profile its a bit annoying 2) the free version has really changed now and is almost impossible to use with the restrictions in place 3) i wish i could customize currency conversions and show balances properly in just one currency

Switched to Venmo a while ago because it was limiting the free tier. Used Splitwise again recently for a group expense. Looks like the free tier is not as limited as it used to be. I like Splitwise better than Venmo if not for those limitations.

Splitwise has made expense tracking so simple for my team and me. I use it to manage shared costs during team outings and group projects. It keeps everything organized and fair without any awkward conversations. We all rely on it now. It’s one of my favorite go-to apps.

App is helpful when travelling with friends, used a free version a couple of times and it does the job, making the expenses split much easier

After years of being a happy user I'm now thinking of switching to other apps because Splitwise just decided to hardsell the pro by adding a 10s ad for every transaction added AND limit us to 4 transactions per day. The pro subscription is too costly for something so simple so meh

It was a great app, but upselling pro version by limiting daily inputs is a bad tactic.

It's reallly good for splitting, has some smart feature where you can just enter some text and a number and it will know what they means. HOWEVER recently they put a limit, you can only add like 4 transactions per day, seemingly to push you to upgrade. So im quite sad that i cannot use it for free. i will consider other products before i can judge if it's worth it to pay for this service
