Love the clean approach and the focus on just tracking without payment processing, that honestly sounds refreshing. One thing I'd love to see is recurring expenses like rent or shared subscriptions, since typing those in every month gets old fast. Could be a small toggle when adding an expense to set it as monthly with an end date.
