Hey Product Hunt! 👋
The Problem: During a weekend trip with roommates, we hit Splitwise's 3 expense per day limit by noon. Breakfast, gas station stop, and hotel check-in used up our quota. We had to wait until midnight to log lunch and dinner expenses, or pay for premium just to track our spending properly.
This felt ridiculous for such a basic feature, so SplitEase was built to solve exactly this problem.
What SplitEase Offers:
Unlimited expenses per day - no artificial restrictions
Unlimited groups - track as many friend circles as needed
Edit and delete expenses anytime - included free
Payment reminders with push notifications
Real-time sync across all devices
Clean, modern interface
Completely free forever - no ads, no premium tier
The tech stack is React with Zustand for state management, Node.js backend with MongoDB, deployed on Vercel.
SplitEase is specifically designed for students, flatmates sharing daily expenses, and travel groups who need to log multiple transactions per day without hitting paywalls.
Would love to hear feedback from the community on features that would make this more useful!

@kanishka07 Hi Kanishka!
Great question! Multi-currency and trip summaries are definitely on the roadmap.
We're currently focused on perfecting the core expense splitting experience, but I'm curious - are you thinking more about:
• Converting expenses in real-time during international trips?
• Or generating end-of-trip settlement summaries per person?
Would love to understand your use case better! Are you planning trips abroad or managing expenses for a travel group?
Also, which currencies would be most useful for you?
