Split

Wow, they raised $1M for this. As with Cloak, the big issue (IMHO) is that it relies on Foursquare, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook geo information to track people based on their last update. I don't see how this is real-time enough to be useful. I'd much rather use Tickle to escape awkward/unwanted encounters. cc @alexcornell. :)

So Split relies on people (the ones that you want avoid) actively using the third party apps (FB, Twitter, etc.)? If so, unless the people you want avoid are *very* active users of these other services then I don't see how Split can be very effective. Agree with you on Tickle, @rrhoover! Btw, how did you create a link out of that text? New PH edit tool in the works or does the text box read html?

@GeoffreyWeg you can use html. :) I'd like to add a better editor eventually.
