None of them made stairs feel *meaningful*. The moment I thought "what if 8,849 meters of climbing = Everest?" — something clicked. Spire uses HealthKit's FlightsClimbed data, so there's no logging, no guessing. Your iPhone already knows how many floors you climbed today. Spire just turns that data into something you actually care about. A few things I'm proud of: - The Streak Freeze mechanic (inspired by Duolingo) — missing one day doesn't kill your habit - Landmark progression — seeing "You're at 5,000m on Everest" makes every floor feel like progress - 17-language localization, with culturally relevant landmarks per region I'm a solo developer based in Japan.
