Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m so excited to share SpicyBoardGame with you all today. 🎲
The Story:
My partner and I recently realized that initiating intimacy was getting a bit... predictable. Breaking out of our daily routine to start something spicy sometimes felt awkward or too planned out. We wanted a fun way to connect without the pressure of having to come up with ideas ourselves. Everything on the market was either boring or locked behind a paywall, so I built SpicyBoardGame.
Why it works (and why we love it):
Instead of the awkward "who initiates" dance, the game takes the wheel. You just roll the dice, and the board gives you connection prompts or physical dares. It uses the fun of a game to completely melt away any shame or pressure.
Key Features:
🔥 Zero Pressure: The game tells you what to do, making it a shared, playful experience rather than a serious proposition.
📈 Actual Build-up: You control the intensity. It starts sweet and chill (Level 1) and slowly turns up the heat (Level 5) to build genuine tension.
🔒 100% Private: Given the nature of the app, privacy is everything. There are no accounts and no databases. Everything runs locally on your device. What happens on your phone stays there.
🤖 AI Customization: Everyone is into different things, so I added an AI import feature to easily tailor custom tasks to your specific boundaries or inside jokes.
I built this to be genuinely useful for couples, but I'd love outside eyes. If you're looking for something fun to try on your next date night, I'd be incredibly grateful if you gave it a spin.
Please be brutally honest—what works? What makes you cringe? Any tasks I should add? I'll be hanging out in the comments all day! Cheers! 🥂
