Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm a musician, a data engineer, and someone who's spent way too many hours hunting for the right piece of gear at the right price.
You know the drill. You find a guitar you love, open another tab to check the price, then another, then another... Suddenly you're 40 minutes deep into Reverb, eBay and a dozen music stores, wondering if you've actually found a good deal or just got tired of looking.
And the worst part? There's a good chance a better deal was out there all along.
That's exactly why I started building Spialo. 🎸
But I didn't want to build just another price comparison website.
I wanted something that actually changes how we discover and buy music gear.
Imagine browsing your favourite music store and automatically discovering that the exact same guitar is available for less somewhere else. No extra tabs. No endless searching. Just better deals finding you while you browse.
That's what our Chrome extension does.
And there's much more to Spialo:
🎸 Millions of new and used music gear offers, brought together in one place.
📸 See a guitar or piece of gear you love? Take a photo and let Spialo help identify it, find matching products and explore available offers.
📈 Explore price history and trends so you can judge whether today's price is actually a good one.
🔔 Set price alerts and stop checking the same product every day.
One thing I'm particularly proud of: the cheapest offers come first. Always. No paid placements pushing more expensive products to the top.
I've been building Spialo because it's something I genuinely wanted as a musician. A tool that saves time, saves money and makes discovering gear exciting again.
It's still growing, and there's plenty more I want to build.
I'd love for you to give it a try, especially if you've ever spent an entire evening searching for gear instead of actually playing it. 😅
I'd love to hear one thing from you: what's the most frustrating part of buying music gear online?
Your feedback could genuinely shape what we build next.
Thanks for checking out Spialo!
