What’s sharing your space? Spectra puts Bluetooth scanning, local-network discovery, and magnetic-field analysis on your iPhone. Explore nearby devices, review supported camera-related services on the network you’ve joined, and use close-range magnetic readings to guide a physical check for concealed electronics. At home or halfway around the world, understand more about the technology around you. Scan interpretation runs on your iPhone. No account. No subscription.

I’m Pretlow, founder and sole developer of Arc Signal, an independent software company.
I built Spectra around a question: what’s sharing your space? We’re surrounded by connected devices, yet making sense of what they broadcast can be difficult. I wanted to make that information easier to understand and give people a practical way to investigate their surroundings.
Spectra brings Bluetooth scanning, supported services on the network you’ve joined, and close-range magnetic-field measurements together on your iPhone. That includes reviewing camera-related network services and using readings from your iPhone’s built-in magnetometer to guide a physical check for concealed electronics.
Spectra also includes an Experimental Apple Watch companion. Run a Bluetooth sweep from your wrist without your iPhone nearby, then reconnect and open Spectra on your paired iPhone to sync and review the capture.
I continue to improve the device catalog, recognition, and the experience of reviewing results. Questions and feedback help me see where explanations need more care and where the app can become more useful.
I also have a limited number of App Store promo codes for the Product Hunt community. If you’d like to try Spectra, email me at hello@arcsignal.dev and I’ll share one while they’re available.
Thanks for taking a look. I’d love to hear what you find useful and what you’d like me to improve.
