Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I built SpecParse to solve a problem I noticed in construction workflows: valuable BOQ and engineering data is often trapped inside PDF tables and must be copied manually into Excel. SpecParse converts these documents into structured Excel, CSV, and JSON files. The product is currently in free beta. Tried SpecParse on a messy BOQ PDF with merged cells and it pulled out the line items cleanly into Excel. The auto-detect of column headers saved me a lot of cleanup time.

I’d love to know how accurate the extracted quantities and values were, and if there were any parts of the exported Excel file that still needed manual cleanup.
