A Chrome extension for true 3D spatial audio. Position sounds in space with binaural HRTF, draw occluding geometry, animate movement with macros, and shape tone with a 10-band EQ — all in the browser.

About 4 years ago, my friend showed me 3d audio, and I had never heard it before. My mind was blown. And because of how my brain works, I had to figure out how to make it myself. I did some research, and nothing I found was able to do what I want, until I found this company called DearVR, who manufactures products for spatial audio in VR headsets. One of the products, called DearVR Pro, was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, I had zero money, and went with the minimal(and free) option, DearVR Micro. I used this for a while, and my interest sort of drifted away from spatial audio, leaning more towards AI and python. I cam back to it after I found online that Sennheiser bought DearVR, and all their products were open source, and by that time, they had developed DearVR Pro. and for a while, that was my setup. I've been making 8d and spatial versions of popular lofi playlists and even EPIC: The Musical songs. Then about 2 years ago, I identified I needed something different. I was using DearVR Pro 2 as a plugin for Audacity, I was using a separate program for recording the mix and another software for automating panning, and yet another for splitting of stems. It was a mess. So I decided to build a specialized tool. Long story short, that was Spatial Audio Studio. I've been adding cool new features and quality of life updates ever since.
(note: advanced features like multi listening and new themes are in v1.6+, which is a paid product available on my patreon: https://www.patreon.com/cw/USBHeadphones2)
