The anti-subscription Spanish speaking practicing app for intermediate plus. AI analyzes your monologue recordings to show exactly where you're weak. Track your progress in a skills map. Focus on your weak areas. Anti-subscription model: Get better = pay less.

AI-powered, blah blah blah... Yeah, I know. Another "AI language app."
But we aren't about speaking to fake AI avatars.
What we actually offer:
1. Anti-subscription
After 15 years teaching languages, and who knows how long of learning languages, I got tired of watching myself and students get trapped in monthly payment cycles that profit from keeping them dependent. SpanishSmash works differently - we want you to master Spanish and move on.
2. TARGETED practice
Instead of generic "keep practicing Spanish," our heat maps show your strong and weak areas. For example, you're B2 at talking about your daily routines but A2 at describing your future dreams and aspirations.
Practice THAT specific gap, not everything equally.
3. Monologue training, not chatbots
Conversations let you hide behind "sí, exactamente."
Also, why is everyone so crazy about talking to robots? Monologues force you to generate sustained speech alone. Train the harder skill, the easier one becomes automatic.
4. CEFR-based assessment, evaluation and feedback
Our system not only provides you with feedback, corrections, and suggestions, but gives you a rating based on language learning best practices and my experience as as polyglot. Completing dialogues shows your skills level. It's an RPG skills map for your language ability.
5. Our pricing encourages you to get better
Pay per session OR lifetime access ($297 which includes a lifetime subscription to Aura's Insight, a Spanish learning community). When you reach higher levels, you pay less for sessions. We celebrate when you don't need us anymore. Actually, if you are still using our app after five years, I think I might just personally email you...
Built by a polyglot who speaks 6 languages and has taught around 20 years.
