SpaceSharp is a free, open-source disk space analyzer for Windows inspired by SpaceMonger. Scan any drive or folder and explore your storage through an interactive, zoomable treemap. Find large files, filter by name, type, size or age, view storage by file type, measure actual size on disk, detect hard links, and safely remove files through the Recycle Bin.

I’m the developer of SpaceSharp, a free and open-source disk space analyzer for Windows.
The project was heavily inspired by SpaceMonger. I’ve always liked the way it makes disk usage visual instead of forcing you to dig through endless folder-size lists, and I wanted to build a modern take on that idea.
SpaceSharp represents your files and folders as an interactive treemap, where the size of each box corresponds to the space it occupies. You can zoom into folders, search and filter files, inspect your largest files and directories, view storage usage by file type, and remove unwanted files directly through the Windows Recycle Bin.
Over time it has grown to include things like multiple treemap styles, size-on-disk measurements, hard-link detection, file-type coloring, multiple palettes, dark/light themes, and portable and installable versions.
It supports Windows 10 and 11 and is completely free under the MIT license.
The source code is available on GitHub, and I’ve also submitted SpaceSharp to WinGet.
This is still an actively developed project, so I’d genuinely appreciate feedback — especially around the treemap navigation, UI, scanning performance, and features you think a disk space analyzer should have.
