Hi 👋 I built SpaceCheck.app after noticing a simple but expensive problem in online furniture shopping: customers can see a product, but they can't easily tell **how it will actually look and fit in their own space** before buying. AR can solve this, but creating 3D models for every product is traditionally slow, technical, and expensive—especially for smaller furniture retailers. That became the idea behind SpaceCheck: **What if a retailer could upload a single product photo, enter its dimensions, and turn it into a 3D + true-scale AR experience in minutes?** While building it, my approach evolved from focusing mainly on AI 3D generation to thinking about the entire retailer workflow. Generating a model wasn't enough—it needed to be easy to preview, publish, share, and actually use in ecommerce. That led to Shopify integration, browser-based AR, QR codes, shareable links, and GLB/USDZ downloads. The goal is to make 3D and AR practical for furniture businesses without requiring a 3D designer or a complicated production workflow.
