I'm not sure if this is kosher but I just thought anyone interested in this might also find value in a tool my data structures and algos professor (University of San Francisco) built. This tool is helpful to understand how some of the most famous sorting algorithms work.

I like this alot. This is going to be the big thing in 2016. Making your content more visual and interactive.

This reminds me when I was in the Algorithm class. :) I hope students who isn't familiar with sorting algorithm use this!
