Think about it: when you find someone who shares your obsession with a specific obscure indie track or a haunting movie soundtrack, you already feel a deep connection. You’re on the same "frequency." As a programmer and a music geek, I was tired of traditional social apps where connections are often superficial. So, I spent my spare time building SongMeet to help people find their "Acoustic Soulmates." What makes SongMeet different? The Resonance Score: We don’t just look at genres; we analyze your specific song preferences to calculate how well your musical souls align. 4-Color Vibe Check: Use Red (Love), Orange (Like), Yellow (Neutral), and Green (Skip) to express your feelings for tracks. It’s simple, visual, and intuitive. Pure Connection: Once you hit a high match score, you can see the other person’s curated recommendations and contact them directly. No fluff, no endless swiping. This is a passion project built with a lot of late-night coding and a lot of coffee. I’m currently a solo dev, so I’m incredibly eager to hear your feedback!
