Hey hunters 🤟🏻 I'm Tad! I've been anticipating this moment for long time. Over 3 years in fact! I've been building and rebuilding Songleaf 🌿 on and off for that long on my own and now I'm bringing it out to share with you. My wife and I love to write music and wanted a single place to save all of our ideas and songs so we could come back to them, work on them, and share them. We can't wait to see what you create with Songleaf 🌿! 🌱 I'm specifically looking for people interested in using the beta version of Songleaf 🌿. There will be bugs and less polish but it will be free to you. Hey, Tad! Wish I could try it out (not just waitlist) today, but here are my thoughts based on messaging and screenshots: The app looks mostly like Google Docs / Notion with ability to record inline? I think AI has made possible the ideal software for songwriting. To me, it looks like a mobile app that I open up and just hit record. The app knows when I'm working on the same part over and over and will revise to my latest lyrics and chords while also handling versioning, matching audio recording pieces to lyrics/chords updated, etc. Then ability to manually collaborate or add/edit audio recordings feels like table stakes. I love the space and am an avid songwriter but would love to see more innovation in the product! Keep going!!
