Hey everyone! I built Solstix because I wanted a simple way to check when golden hour starts, what moon phase is coming up, and see what's happening on the sun right now without jumping between multiple apps or websites.
The NASA imagery part started as a fun experiment but ended up being my favorite feature. There's something cool about opening your phone and seeing live solar flares from SDO or Earth from a million miles away via DSCOVR.
Built it with SwiftUI and WeatherKit. Launched yesterday and already hit #147 in the Weather category which blew my mind.
It's completely free with no ads, no subscriptions, and no tracking. I'd love to hear what you think and happy to answer any questions about the build or features.
