Hey Product Hunt We built Solos because every AI music tool we tried felt like the same wrapper around the same handful of models, fast, but generic, and never quite what you actually asked for. We wanted something that treated a prompt as a real creative brief, not just a genre tag. The problem we kept running into: existing tools optimized for speed over control. You'd get a song in seconds, but tweaking mood, structure, or instrumentation meant starting over from scratch. We wanted people to actually shape the song, not just gamble on a regenerate button. Our process changed a lot along the way. We started building around speed as the main pitch, but testing with early users showed that wasn't what stuck, it was control and output quality. So we rebuilt around a different model architecture entirely, one built to handle structure and customization natively instead of bolting it on after generation.
