Hey Product Hunt! I’m incredibly excited to share Solo Browser with you all today!
The inspiration for Solo Browser came from sheer frustration with the modern web. Most browsers today have become bloated, clunky, and constantly compete for your attention with endless notifications, trackers, and unnecessary features. I wanted to build something different—a browser that actually gets out of your way and lets you focus on what matters. Solo Browser solves this by stripping away the digital noise, offering a beautifully minimal, fast, and secure environment built specifically for deep work and distraction-free browsing.
The development process has been a massive journey of evolution. It started as a passion project, heavily experimenting with configs and analyzing what core internet users actually miss from classic, lightweight setups. Over time,it evolved into an entirely new ecosystem, fine-tuning the user interface and performance to be far better than mainstream options like Chrome, while keeping the control focused exactly on your needs.
Now it’s finally ready to share, and I’d absolutely love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and what features you’d like to see next! Thanks for checking it out!
