Pros:

poewred by the sun,I don't need to charge it. 2easy to set up. I can know what happens even if I am in the kitchen.It is waterproof.

Cons:

none I like this doorbell very much.

Got excited then saw the -20 degrees recommendation. I live in Sweden, some cold winters can be -30 or more in rare occasions. Will this kill the unit?

@jasondainter unless you live in lappland or in historic sweden in the 1940'ies you never really get below -20. And if you live in lappland, you dont need a video/doorbell;-)

Most doorbells I've installed (builder) are undercover out of direct sunlight as generally, people pressing the doorbell don't like to get wet if it's raining and they are waiting. To Jake's point, what about prolonged overcast weather and the charging capacity of the device ? Even with a battery backup how is it not going to go flat, be a maintenance/service issue should it be resold to an end user, not just bought and installed by an end user (which means they won't ring up and ask for their money back or request service)? Thank you
