Getting a workout plan is easy. Keeping it useful when recovery, progress, pain, or life changes is the hard part. Solen connects what you planned with what you actually did, so performance, effort, readiness, and check-ins shape what comes next. Train with step-by-step guidance or log freely, follow illustrated movement poses, and swap exercises when needed. As your training unfolds, Solen helps your plan evolve with you.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
My wife and I had both trained with personal trainers before, and we knew the value of having someone who could see the bigger picture and help us decide what to do next.
When we started training on our own, we missed having that coach beside us. We tried conversational AI, workout trackers, and a string of fitness apps. Each helped in the moment, but none carried the thread from one week to the next. They did not know what had changed since the last session, what actually happened in the gym, or what that should mean for the next one.
And context was only half of it. We missed the feeling of coaching: a clear next step after an imperfect day, confidence that the plan still made sense, and enough encouragement to keep showing up.
Solen began as the tool we wanted for ourselves, then became the one we kept returning to. It is our attempt to give independent training that same sense of continuity.
Solen can create a training block around your goals, schedule, experience, and equipment, or continue from a PDF plan you already trust. From there, it makes today clear, guides each set with illustrated movement poses, supports free-form logging when you prefer it, and uses performance, effort, readiness, pain, and check-ins to shape what comes next.
We designed it specifically for strength, muscle, and physique training on iPhone.
Solen has a free tier, with optional Plus and Pro subscriptions for more coaching and training features.
What I’d value most from this community is honest feedback: does Solen create the coaching continuity we set out to build, or does it still feel like another tracker with AI added? Where does the experience earn or lose your trust?
I’ll be here throughout launch day and would love to hear what you think.
