SolarSight is a free, no-sign-up solar calculator built around your actual roof. Place a true-scale panel array on live satellite imagery, model household usage and electricity prices, compare solar with or without a battery, and see monthly production plus a 20-year bill outlook. Local cost ranges and incentives are included across dozens of countries, with provisional assumptions clearly labelled.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 SolarSight started with my own roof. In 2021 I installed a 10.5 kW system for about A$6,000 after the federal rebate. It returned roughly A$3,000 a year in bill credits and avoided power costs, paying for itself in under two years.
I built SolarSight so anyone can run the same kind of calculation without wrestling with spreadsheets or giving up their details to get a quote. You can place panels to scale on your actual roof, answer a few household questions, compare solar-only and battery scenarios, and explore a 20-year electricity bill outlook.
The estimate is free, requires no sign-up, and adapts prices, consumption patterns, and incentives by country. Results are indicative, of course—an installer still needs to confirm the roof, quote, and current eligibility.
I’d love feedback on the assumptions, the roof-mapping flow, and which countries or incentives you want me to improve next. Thanks for taking a look! ☀️
