Solaris Explorer is an independent guide to Solaris and Interface World Models. Explore how AI can continuously generate interfaces in response to user interactions, watch official demonstrations, discover potential use cases, and follow future Solaris developments.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Solaris Explorer because I found the idea behind Interface World Models fascinating, but also surprisingly difficult to understand from scattered demos and research material.
Most software interfaces today work by switching between states that developers have already designed. Solaris introduces a very different idea: the interface itself can be generated continuously as the user interacts with it.
I wanted to create one place where people could quickly understand that shift.
Solaris Explorer currently includes:
• A simple explanation of Interface World Models
• Visual comparisons with traditional interfaces
• Official Solaris demonstrations
• Potential applications and use cases
• FAQs around the technology
• Updates around future Solaris access
I think generative interfaces could eventually become an important new layer of AI-native software, especially for interactive experiences, games, simulations, and products that don't fit neatly into traditional menus and screens.
This is an independent project and is not affiliated with Runway.
I'd especially love feedback from designers and developers: what would you build if the interface itself could be generated in real time?
