Hi Product Hunt! I built Soft Blackout because I kept running into the same problem: I wanted to share screens, take screenshots, or focus on reading, but webpages are full of personal data and visual clutter. Instead of editing screenshots after the fact, I wanted something that works directly on the page, instantly. Soft Blackout lets you manually hide text or use smart redaction modes, all running locally in the browser.
