Brilliant podcast app by the equally brilliant Jared Sinclair. Not the ultimate podcast player but a dedicated tool for the casual podcast listener. Very well executed and well designed with some nice little touches.

@t55 What are good alternatives to the native Apple Podcast software? Any recommendations?

@mictuc it's a matter of taste really. I like Breaker myself, but Overcast is pretty good too, and so is Castro. All three of 'em are heavy duty podcast apps.

@t55 @mictuc Pocket Casts is also great. They also have a great web player.

@t55 @mictuc It all depends on what the "killer feature" for Podcast apps is for you. 'sodes does great with casual listening. (And has the best UI, imho.) Castro has an amazing queuing system. Overcast has great audio-treatments. Pocket Casts has the best discovery and web-player.

So far love the app, but without offline option, will end up costing data to stream.
