Thanks Ben, we started Social Superstore with the idea to allow anyone in the world to be an entrepreneur without the traditional risks of starting a business. This vision has enabled us to build a product which allows anyone to setup a store, add products from retailers and upload relevant content such as captions, reviews and photos to the products in their store. Stores and products can be shared across social networks and every time a product is purchased through a store, the store owner receives a commission.
Totally agree with Ben – huge potential for Vloggers on the platform!
a simplified version of a usualy very long process of starting multiple affiliate accounts and whats more we have hundreds of retailers not just a few. check out my store =D

I'm one of the developers here at Social Superstore. We just officially launched on Thursday so I've been distracted from coding because I keep checking to see what new stores and collections users have been curating ;p. I haven't bought anything from the new stores yet, but there's a few things I have my eye on. (e.g. @pauljacksonhttp://sssto.re/tBdEIK has a great list of camping gear and I'm a total camping newbie) From a development perspective, using Clojure/ClojureScript has helped improve the development experience. Using ClojureScript especially irons out a lot of javascript's inconsistencies - and encourages us to use immutable data and pure functions where possible, which makes a lot of hard things much easier to reason about. Also Bruce Hauman's work making figwheel (https://github.com/bhauman/lein-...) and devcards especially (https://github.com/bhauman/devcards) have been a big help in prototyping and iterating over the design of the user interface components - for example the product pods (pictured above, or browse one of the categories - https://socialsuperstore.com/s/s...)
Totally agree with Ben - I blog as a hobbie & add everything featured on my blog to my Social Superstore, that way it makes it super easy to direct the followers of my blog & social to my Superstore to shop my posts!

Started working at Social Superstore as an Intern while I was at Uni and thought it was a brilliant idea! I've managed to get completely hooked on it just by collecting my favourite things in one place and then being meticulous about how I want my collections to look! It's really exciting watching loads of the early adopters come onto the site and just get hooked like I did. In my mind it's a really good way to express yourself and what you're into in a really entrepreneurial way! Since I got my store looking the way I wanted I pushed on and made loads of collections for the different things that I'm really into - check out my store (and all the awesome collections while you're there - http://sssto.re/Yo1ifV
I've earned some pretty good commissions since more and more people started joining the site but for me the magic of it comes in the community - my store revolves around movies and the such and people that follow me are constantly commenting or messaging me with their thoughts on the movies and even with movies I may like (which has helped me discover movies like Eddie the Eagle).
All the stuff you discuss with your friends but from a community of people who have such a diverse outlook on things really make it exciting (the movies that have made the trending list get loads of feedback!) So if you want to earn a bit of money for the pleasure of sharing and discussing all of your favourite things - download the App or check out the site now!
P.S comment on my stores with more suggestions of movies - I'm told it's largely missing 'the classics'...
