What's great

I’ve been using Social Hampster since launch. They actually reached out to me to try it, and after going through the demo I genuinely liked the idea.

What stood out immediately was how seamless everything felt. Connecting my social accounts to my website was basically a one-click process, and I could display it in different formats without any friction. For someone who works with websites regularly, that simplicity matters a lot.

What needs improvement

I’d love to see X and LinkedIn integrations added.

I’m pretty active on both, so having those would make this even more useful for me. I did see it’s on their roadmap, so really looking forward to that.

vs Alternatives

Before this, I was using FeedSpring for about a month.

The main reason I moved was security. FeedSpring allows connecting almost any feed to a website, which honestly didn’t sit right with me, especially when working with client projects. There’s a lack of control there.

With Social Hampster, I noticed you can only connect what actually belongs to you, and the domain whitelisting feature adds another layer of trust. That was a big decision factor for me.

What's great

I’ve been using Social Hampster for a while now, got introduced to it early and decided to give it a proper try after a quick walkthrough.

What worked for me instantly was how practical it feels. No unnecessary steps, no overcomplication. I could connect my social platforms and sync everything with my website in minutes. As someone who regularly handles campaigns and landing pages, tools that don’t slow you down are a win.

Also, the way content displays across different formats is actually usable, not just “nice-looking,” but something you’d confidently show on a client site.

What needs improvement

The only thing missing for me right now is LinkedIn integration.

vs Alternatives

Before this, I tried FeedSpring for a short period.

It worked, but I wasn’t fully comfortable with how open it is. Being able to pull almost any feed sounds flexible, but when you’re dealing with client projects, that flexibility can feel like a risk.

With Social Hampster, it feels more controlled. You connect what’s actually yours, and features like domain restrictions add a layer of reliability. That balance between usability and security is what made me stick with it.
