Every productivity app treats you like a robot with checkboxes. Social Battery: Get Tasks Done is different. It tracks your energy :) → Plan tasks with energy + importance levels → Build recurring habits without burning out → A buddy mascot sends you reminders to take care of yourself → Interactive widget on your home screen, view your tasks/energy in real time and tick tasks directly from it. → Buddy color syncs with the widget and shifts through the day. → Dashboard reveals YOUR patterns !
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Mehdi, co-founder of Social Battery, built it with Ibrahima, my co-founder, 5 years we've known each other, same university, same grind.
We'd stack classes + study + side projects + parties. We'd check everything off. We'd crash every Sunday.
One day Ibrahima said: "going to the gym drains me."
Me: gym = +15% energy, guaranteed.
SAME activity. OPPOSITE energy.
That's when it hit us: every to-do list on the market treats humans like robots. None of them ask the only question that matters → "did this task GIVE you energy or TAKE it?"
We looked for an app that captured this. Found nothing.
So we built it ourselves. 80% of the app shipped in the first week, i literally finished a sprint sleeping on the floor at 3am on a Sunday 😅.
The remaining 20% took us 3 more weeks (because the last 20% always does).
What makes it different:
→ Every task has an energy level + importance
→ A living buddy mascot that reacts to your battery in real time
→ The iOS 17+ widget is the centerpiece, color syncs with your buddy and shifts through the day, tick tasks without opening the app
→ Dashboard reveals YOUR personal patterns
→ 100% on-device, zero cloud on personal data
Soft launch results (1 week):
→ 100+ organic downloads
→ Zero marketing budget
→ User DMs like "We love the widgets, i really like the app"
Curious to know: what activity recharges you the most, and which one drains you that nobody would suspect?
Hope you like it ! 👉 https://tinyurl.com/socialbatter...
