Scrolling through the comments, it was clear this happens to almost every small B2B founder at some point.
Digging into it, the audit itself usually isn't the expensive part. It's the documentation: 12 policies mapped to what auditors actually check, that most people end up paying a consultant thousands of dollars to draft from scratch.
