Snowy

Hello everyone! Snowy is a personal assistant for the Pebble Time family of smartwatches. As @stevecaldwell mentioned (thanks for the post Steve!), Pebble has been missing a Siri or Google Now equivalent. With the release of the dictation API in October, I wanted to change that. It's been a long two months of building, testing, and refining, but I'm really proud of how good version 1 is already. @idiot_economist @stevecaldwell I just wanted to download Snowy, but when I hit the "download" button in the Pebble app, the app tries to load it onto my Pebble and the install fails. I don't get to the point where I can purchase the app. What am I doing wrong?

@phimema a common problem is firmware mismatch. Do you have the latest Pebble Time app on your phone, and the latest firmware on your watch? (3.8.2). If not, a good old fashioned restart of the watch has fixed things like this for me in the past.

@idiot_economist What does the "Activity" option do in settings? Was surprised to see it there.

@itsthisjustin that's when you enable "hands free mode" in the settings page of the app. Flick your wrist to launch, flick again to start a dictation session.
