A pay-to-rank board where the leaderboard is a self-playing snake. Every cell of its body is a startup, ordered by how much it has paid. Bid higher than the listing above you and you take its place — bid above everyone and you take the head. Rank is total dollar committed, so bids stack and climbing only ever costs you the difference. Ties go to whoever got there first, which means matching the leader buys you #2 not #1. New spots start at $5 and board is brand new — the head is cheap right now.

Ok I am trying to understand it. Low key I do not understand it. Like I know its a good marketing tactic. It IS different. I feel bad having you explain but I really did not understand the examples.
@saderod Hey Stefhon, thanks for asking, and don't feel bad at all! I probably explained it badly. Here's a simple example:
Think of it like a line of startups, and the startup at the front is #1. The order depends only on how much money each startup has paid.
Startup A pays $5, so it's in the line.
Startup B pays $10, so B moves ahead of A.
Startup A adds $10 more, so A has paid $15 in total. Now A is ahead of B.
So you can pay more at any time to move up. Startups that pay the most sit at the front, which is the snake's head. Everyone else forms the body behind it. You can also watch the snake move on screen when someone gets pushed back.
It's basically a "pay to get seen" board that looks like the Snake game from old Nokia phones. If it's still unclear, let me know which part, and I'll explain it better. 🙂
