Getting into NYC and SF's best restaurants has become a part-time job – refreshing Resy at midnight, being a nanosecond too late, and praying that something opens up. SnagRes watches 140 of NYC and SF's hardest to book restaurants (Carbone, Tatiana, Torrisi, Cote, The Corner Store, Cotogna, San Ho Won, Quince, Copra, The Happy Crane, etc), and alerts you the moment a table opens up, whether that's a fresh release or a last-minute cancellation.

I was incredibly frustrated trying to book top restaurants in NYC–it felt like I needed to be refreshing 30 different tabs all day just to see if a slot popped up. So, I decided to build a tool that conglomerated all of these different restaurants' reservations into one space, so that people have an all-in-one view of what restaurants have availability. It also lets you filter for a variety of different factors, such as cuisine and neighborhood that is rather difficult on traditional booking sites. I learnt a lot while building this–pushing MVPs and iterating is best, talking to your customers for feedback is incredibly important, and prioritisation still needs to be done by you, not AI.
