Smol Coach helps fitness and wellness businesses launch online sessions and build their own studio/practice online. We aim to be Shopify (or rather, the Mindbodylive) for online-first fitness and wellness. We're fully Zoom integrated, with new features every 2 weeks.
Covid slapped our earlier startup in the face, we almost shut it down, and then one night, a random idea led to what is now Smol Coach. Intrigued? Sequoia published its doom and gloom memo the day I started fundraising for my earlier startup in March 2020 - and being stuck in isolated quarantine, jet-lagged, and watching users lose jobs (and therefore have no way to pay us), made for a godawful combination.
I wanted an easy way to meet interesting people during this time, so I used Zapier and Airtable to build the earliest version of Smol Coach - kinda like a Skillshare.
After this, @anbarasiu, @nean and I got a flood of requests to make the product more easy to use for professionals who were now running their business online - and so we decided to give this startup thing another go.
We've seen multiple startups launch online events and classes - but we wanted to focus on a vertical that we had a passion for, and so we're launching Smol Coach as a product for online fitness and wellness professionals, today.

Last time I visited smol coach (pre-pandemic) you guys were open for all niches.
Love that you have niched down to fitness and wellness.
I feel a little unease with the name. Wouldn't a different name specific to fitness and wellness create a better brand?
@alicodermaker Haha thanks Ali. We like the name Smol because it represents our brand - friendly and nimble and filled with positivity. We hope you come to see it the same way!

With regards to post event reach out, is there a facility to reach out to all users for feedback requests and sharing event resource links?
@akshay_r Hi Akshay, yes there is - in your attendee list / client database, you can see all their emails. We automatically send feedback requests on your behalf, but you can always reach out separately too.
We don't offer email (full CRM) from within the app yet, so you'll have to copy paste the emails and reach out, but its definitely possible.
Congratulations on launching Smol Coach @sowmyarao_!
Do you plan to offer analytics and other tools to help creators/coaches scale up their offerings, figuring out what's working, etc.?

Hi!
This looks great guys!
Thank you for making such an easy to use platform.
After playing around with the website I found a few things I would suggest doing for a better user experience for the trainer.
1. The hamburger menu has all of the most used features. I wanted to add sessions, but had to click on the hamburger menu and the button to add sessions. Something like this should be easier to access since it is heavily used.
2. The home icon should be on all pages and visible without having to go to the hamburger menu. For example, goal: "Add client, then add session"
User flow was this:
Look for Hamburger menu --> press hamburger menu --> press on "clients" --> (i couldn't find where to add client) --> press hamburger menu --> press "add session" --> fill in session info. -->
3. Under "add session" pressing "recurring session?" Should move the screen down to the fill in table. I had to scroll down to get to the table.
4. Under the hamburger menu, when pressing the "clients" title then the "sessions" title there was not enough feedback. There should be a transition from one page to the next and context change?... maybe load the text then the table??? And have an icon, used in the hamburger menu, associated with the page title???
5. And lastly, can we add the logo of our company and brand colors to the "My website"?

Congratulations on the launch @sowmyarao_!
Is the choice of fitness/wellness as the group to focus on, specifically for the launch and do you plan scale up to other categories later? The product looks useful to almost everyone who wants to run virtual sessions!
