👋 Hello everyone! I built Smartjump to solve a pain point surrounding the inaccessibility of dynamic links to the general public, and this release creates an effective solution for both the general population and the technically inclined. Smartjump is a SaaS product centered around extending the possibilities link shortening by allowing customiable rule-based workflows, webhook integrations for automation, and detailed analytics for marketers, developers, and business owners.
Who is Smartjump for?
Smartjump is primarily for businesses, developers, and marketers who need both a lightweight and powerful way to control how users reach their content.
⚙️ What Smartjump can be used for
Smartjump can be used in various real-world scenarios that traditionally require custom web server configurations or other technically complicated setups. Smartjump provides six preset template smart links for functions such as:
- 🏁 A/B testing, for developers
- 🌐 Geographic Localization, for businesses, marketers, and others
- ⚡ Integrated Webhooks, for developers seeking to upscale the power of smart links
- ⏰ Time-sensitive Offerings, for businesses and marketers who would like to promote specific things at specific times
- 📱 Mobile App Promotions, for mobile app or web developers who would like their redirects to reflect user device type
- ⚙️ IP-address Whitelisting, for lightweight IP address filtering
and many other possibilities given time.
Smartjump provides conditional programming for each link, allowing dozens of rules to be configured for a single link. Each rule follows a pattern similar to a conditional statement.
💵 What is the pricing?
Smartjump will be a freemium service that provides a limited free tier and a paid premium tier starting at $7/month. The premium tier will offer several benefits such as:
- Increased smart links: 5 -> 50 smart links
- Increased monthly requests cap: 50 -> 2,500 requests per month
- Access to early rollouts and future beta testing
- Detailed link analytics such as data about every click made to the redirect
- Access to webhook integrations
- Links that never expire (links can only have an expiry of up to one month for free users)
