A progressive, ad-free typing academy designed for ages 3 to 7—turning key-mashing into early reading, phonics, spelling, and real physical keyboard fluency. Free levels — no sign-up needed.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Slothverse Keyboard Academy after noticing something simple with my own child: touchscreens become intuitive incredibly early, but a real physical keyboard is still a completely separate skill.
So I wanted to make that transition feel playful instead of instructional.
Keyboard Academy starts with finding letters and numbers, then gradually progresses into lowercase letters, words, sentences, and more advanced typing.
A few things were important to me while building it:
built around a real physical keyboard
short, playful learning sessions
completely ad-free
child gameplay and progress stay on the device
the first levels are free and need no signup
This is also the first product I’ve publicly shipped under Slothverse, so I’m especially interested in learning from people outside my own circle.
If you have a child around ages 3–7, I’d love to know:
Does the experience feel intuitive enough for them to understand without much coaching?
And for everyone else, I’d love any feedback on the idea, onboarding, or overall product experience.
Thanks for checking it out 🦥⌨️
