What inspired you to build this? What problem were you trying to solve? How did your approach or process evolve while working on this launch? I built SleepGen to solve a personal problem: finding quality, personalized sleep content that actually works. As someone who struggled with sleep, I noticed that generic sleep apps and stories didn't resonate with me. The problem: Most sleep content is generic, repetitive, and doesn't adapt to individual preferences. Parents spend hours searching for bedtime stories, and adults struggle to find relaxing content that matches their mood. My approach: I leveraged cutting-edge AI (GPT-4, FLUX Pro, Stable Audio) to generate truly personalized content. Instead of subscriptions, I created a credit-based system so users pay only for what they use. The evolution: Started with simple text-to-speech stories, then added dynamic video generation with perfect audio-video sync, and finally integrated AI music composition. Each feature was added based on user feedback and real sleep science research. The result: A platform that creates unique, calming content tailored to each user, helping thousands fall asleep faster and sleep better.
