Seems interesting! I've noticed in the entertainment industry the importance of social presence and engagement, how does this compare to sharing a creator's social profile (instagram, youtube, etc) where the musician/model/actor primarily post as their resume?
This is really cool! Adding a social aspect to it might be a good idea. Offer casting directors/ad agencies/production companies the ability to hire models for shoots or commercials through your platform directly.
Wow wow wow! This is going to be a game changer for casting indie projects. Currently working on a pilot, but with our budget and the SAG strike, we're not wanting to go through an agency or poorly designed casting sites (ahem, Actor's Access and their 2009 interface). Also a great option for actors who want to keep their IG pages focused on personal life.
Is there/will there be a feature for directors/producers to put out casting calls and handle initial auditions and slides via Slate?

Hi Morgan! Thanks so much for your feedback! Someone showed me Actor's Access back in December of last year and that's what made me get to work on Slate :).
Yes, we have a Casting portal as well that we are currently piloting. Casting directors will be able to put out casting calls, review, and organize submissions. The platform is designed to be collaborative so users will be able to seamlessly share context with external stakeholders.
