What does yours have extra? Does it have synchronization?

Yes - sync is there. Sign in and your commands and variables follow you to every device you use Chrome on. Everything is encrypted before it's stored.
Beyond that, the main differences:
Variants - one /email holding Personal and Work, instead of separate commands
Variables and placeholders - Hello {name}, or a [topic] you fill in as you insert
Rich text - bold, links and formatting survive into the field
Built-ins - /date, /time, /emoji, /voice for dictation, /clip for clipboard history (upcoming)
Your own trigger - any symbol instead of /, or a keyboard shortcut
To be straight with you: SlashText being open source with no limits is a genuine advantage, and mine isn't that. Free gets you 10 commands and all the built-ins; unlimited commands and variables are paid. That's the trade.
Since the free cap is the thing that'd stop you comparing them fairly - email me at info@slashanywhere.com from the address you sign in with and I'll switch you to lifetime Pro, no strings. Then you can put both side by side and tell me honestly which one you keep. If it's the other one, that's useful for me to know too.

That's your name and email, and only if you choose to sign in. Sign-in exists so your commands sync across devices and so subscriptions work. Use it signed out and nothing is collected at all; everything stays local.
User activity
Only a daily counter, like /email - used 12 times. That's what the "time saved" stat in the dashboard is built from.
No keystrokes, no mouse, no sites you visit, and never the text you type or insert. Google just has one broad checkbox for it, and its description lists everything that could fall under it.
And it's only if you sign in - signed out, nothing is sent at all.
