I noticed that a lot of people understand English perfectly but still feel out of place online. Group chats, memes, comments - everyone’s using words that aren’t taught anywhere, and if you miss them once, you feel outdated fast. SlangUp came from that gap. I wanted a simple, fun way to pick up slangs without making it feel like studying. Just a few minutes a day, real words, real usage. While building it, I stopped thinking of it as a learning app and more like a daily internet catch-up. The goal was never perfect English - it was helping people feel confident and in the loop again.
