I’m Meet, the maker of Skypora.
I’ve spent the last few months heads-down on a browser-based video conferencing tool called Skypora, and I’m finally at a point where I can share it with the world.
The project started because I was tired of meeting tools that felt bloated, expensive, or forced everyone to download an app just for a five-minute sync. I wanted something lightweight that just works the second you open the tab.
What’s under the hood right now:
Zero Install: Everything runs directly in the browser.
The Essentials: Smooth video/audio, screen sharing, and real-time chat.
Fast UI: I kept the interface clean and responsive so it doesn't get in the way.
I’ll be honest—getting the Live connections and socket stability right was a massive uphill battle, especially when thinking about scalability. It’s been a challenge, but the core infra is finally solid.
I’m still actively tweaking things, but I’d love to get some fresh eyes on it. If you’re a founder or developer who lives in Zoom/Meet all day, I’d value your honest feedback.
