Last year I was doing bookkeeping work for a client and got handed 24 PDF files containing years of vendor invoices. I manually extracted 4,149 invoices — vendor name, invoice number, dates, line items, totals — one by one. It took weeks. The whole time I kept thinking: this exact work shouldn't exist anymore. So I built SkipEntry. Upload PDFs, AI extracts all invoice fields with confidence scoring, you review side-by-side with the original and correct anything that's off, then export to QuickBooks or Xero import format. The key insight: bookkeepers don't want fully automated extraction. They need to verify the data before it goes into a tax filing. So the review interface is the core of the product — AI-assisted, human-verified. Built solo with Next.js, Supabase, Claude Haiku API, and Stripe. Free trial: 50 pages, no credit card.
