hey ph! 👋 built this because i was genuinely terrible at doing my skincare routine consistently. tried reminders, notes apps, spreadsheets — nothing stuck. then i realized the only daily habit i never break is my duolingo streak. so i thought… what if skincare worked the same way? that’s skinpal. you get xp for moisturizing. you fight pimples as boss battles. you get a loot box every day just for showing up. it’s dumb and it works. some things i'm proud of: * skin quiz that actually builds a routine for your skin type * ingredient clash checker (because i once used tretinoin + glycolic on the same night and my face peeled off) * a little mascot called dewey who hypes you up it’s a completely free static site — no backend, no accounts, no data collection. your data stays in your browser. would love feedback, especially from fellow skincare nerds 🧴
