Your GitHub already tells your story. SkillMatch turns public repositories into a skill profile, highlights projects, and matches developers with relevant remote jobs. No resume uploads, no lengthy forms—just enter a GitHub username and discover opportunities based on what you actually build. Fast, free, and no signup required.

Honestly this is kind of brilliant, i popped in my github and it actually pulled out relevant skills from my repos instead of just listing languages. The job matches were surprisingly on point too.
love the no-signup angle, super low friction which is honestly rare these days. one thing i'd love though is some kind of "saved searches" or alerts so i can come back and see new matches for my repos without retyping my username every time. basically a lightweight way to track changes over time
Finally tried this with my GitHub and it actually pulled out relevant skills from side projects I forgot I had. The job matches felt surprisingly on point for a no-signup tool.
Would love to see a filter for tech stack preferences after the initial match, so I can narrow down to roles that actually use languages I want to grow in rather than ones I dabble in.
One thing I'd love to see is letting users pin or hide specific repos so the profile doesn't surface forks or old tutorial code that doesn't reflect current skills. Would make matches way more accurate for people like me who have a messy history.
honestly this is pretty cool, just popped in my github and it actually pulled out the right skills from my repos way better than i expected. nice not having to fill out yet another form
